On August 11, at around 11:15 p.m., Wesley Horbal, 26, and the victim were fighting at a business in the 3200 block of Shore Drive, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
During the fight, the victim sustained a head injury and was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment, police reported.
On August 25, the victim succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead, authorities said.
Police said four days later, Horbal was arrested for voluntary manslaughter.
